MONTHWISE DIET DURING PREGNANCY ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA

MONTHWISE DIET DURING PREGNANCY ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA:-

1) First month-
-Women having doubt of pregnancy
she should eat Sweet,cold and liquid diet
-Compatible food in morning and evening.
-milk, medicated ghrita with Shaliparni and Palash should be taken in the easier digestible quantity
-Water boiled with gold and silver and cooled should be used to drink
*****Massage of oil and rubbing , scrubbing should be avoided*******

2) Second month-
-Follow the above regimen of diet
-Milk medicated with Madhur drugs (Kakoli) is beneficial

3) Third month-
-Take milk with honey and ghrita.
-Follow the diet which is compatible.
-Specially use Shashti shali Rice with milk

4) Fourth month –
-Take  20ml of butter daily
-Drink milk with butter
-Eat medicated rice or rice with curd
-Eat meat of wild animals

5) Fifth Month-
-Use milk,butter,Ghrita in food.
-Eat rice with milk,rice gruel,rice pudding(Payasa/Khir)
-Eat meat of wild animals

6) Sixth month-
-Takeghrita medicated with madhura group of medicine like Gokshur
-Eat sweetened curd.

7) Seventh month-
-Follow the same regimen of diet as in 6th month.
-Also use medicated ghrita with Pruthkparnyadi/Vidarigandhadi medicines ,it is helpful for proper growth and development of fetus

8) Eighth month-
-Eat rice gruel prepared with milk  and mixed with ghrita.
-Also eat gritpurak(sweet kind preparation)
-Give basti (enema)of Badaradi  decoction followed by enema of medicated oil for clearing the feces and normalise the function of Apana.
-Basti should be given in humpbacked position.
-After enema she should give rice gruel and meat soup of wild animals.

9) Nine month-
-Follow the food regimen as in eighth month.
-Enema with the  oil medicated as in eighth month
- Tampon of this oil should put in the vaginal canal  for lubrication of cervix, vaginal canal and perineum.
-Enemas and tampons prepare the genital tract ,obstetric pelvis and perineal muscles  for vaginal delivery without any complications.

1- The woman remains healthy
2- Delivers the healthy child , having good immunity, energy, voice,muscle strength, and much superior than other family members.
