Consumption of Food

Food that should not have to be consumed regularly
(हे पदार्थ रोज /नियमीतपणे खाऊ नये)

1) किलाट/-कलाकंद (sweet dairy product )
2) दधी-curd
3) कूर्चीका-पनीर( paneer )
4) क्षार-soda containing products,soft drinks
5) शुक्त -fermented soup
6) आममूलकम् – radish which is not fully matured  
7) कृशशुष्कवराहाविगोमत्स्यमहिषाभिषम- meat of animals which are emaciated,and dry meat of the boar, sheep, cow, fish and buffalo,
8) माष (black gram),
9) निष्पाव-पावटा/Dolichos sinensis;
10) शालूक बिस Roots and stems of lotus/lily
11) पिष्ट starchy food,
12) विरूढकम् germinated grains
13) शुष्कशाक, dried vegetables
14) यवक  small barley
15) फाणित- half cooked molasses

Food that should have to be consumed regularly/daily basis and  for a long 
(नेहमीच आहारात असावे असे पदार्थ)

1) शाली -rice
 2) गोधूम(wheat),
3) यव – Barley ,
4) षष्टिक rice maturing in sixty days
5) जांगल  meat of animals in desert 
6) सुनिषण्णक/तांदुळजा /marselia cardifolia
7) जीवन्ती Leptadenia reticulata,
8) बालमुलक young raddish
9) वास्तुक/चाकवत chakawat
10) पथ्या /हिरडा -Terminalia chebula
11) आमलक/आवळा – Indian gooseberry
12) मृद्वीका/मनुका – dry grapes
13) पटोले/परवल -Trichosanthes dioica
14) मद्ग/मुग -green gram
15) शर्करा sugar
16) घृत  ghee
17) दिव्योदक rain water or pure water
18) क्षीर  milk
19) क्षौद्र honey
20) दाडिम –/डाळींब– Punica granatum
21) सैंधव  – Rock Salt

**Triphala powder with honey and ghee should be consumed at nights daily to increase the strength of eye sight****

*** Other things which help to  maintain health and eliminate diseases can also be consumed regularly **
